Nonprofit Overview
Leadership Washington County is dedicated to educating and supporting current and future leaders in Washington County. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, we provide leadership programs that empower individuals at all levels of their careers to become effective and impactful leaders. Our work has created a community of leaders who drive positive change in their organizations and our region.
The LWC Signature Leadership Program is a 10-month intensive program that is designed for professionals that are in a current leadership position within their company. Throughout the program we leverage classroom learning, experiential learning, and exposure to government, academic, nonprofit, and corporate institutions. The program offers access to a large network of business and community leaders to help participants gain a better understanding of our local economy and community while promoting personal growth.
The Masterclass programs host impactful speakers and facilitators and are open to all.
Current Needs
Leadership Washington County's greatest need is funding the LWC Signature Program. This program is a 10-month intensive program that is designed for professionals in all stages of leadership within their company, as well as small business owners, to develop community leaders.
Throughout the program we leverage classroom learning, experiential learning, and exposure to government, academic, nonprofit, and corporate institutions. The signature program offers access to a large network of business, community leaders, and professional networks that will help participants gain a better understanding of our local economy and community while promoting personal growth.
After graduation, LWC provides participants with opportunities for nonprofit and community organization board membership in order to stay actively involved in the community.
