Cornerstone Care

Cornerstone Care is a non-profit network of Federally Qualified Community Health Centers (FQHC) and practices serving communities throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia. Our mission is to improve the health of our patients and the residents of our community with special concern for the underserved.

The current need of our organization is funding for a new, fully equipped Mobile Dental Unit. Cornerstone Care is contracted with LifeLine Mobile, who is constructing our new, two operatory dental unit, estimated to arrive in September 2023. While a majority of funding has been secured, we need additional funds to cover the overall cost. We have raised $370,000, but still are in need of $111,100. Cornerstone Care' s mobile dental unit utilizes licensed dentists and hygienists that visit local Head Start programs, schools, businesses, and other community locations to provide dental screenings, exams, x-rays, cleanings, and sealants if applicable. Our goals are to educate parents and children about the importance of good oral health, to make a generational change to improve oral health; ensuring all patients have a dental home so their oral health needs are met.
