Bentleyville Public Library
Nonprofit Overview
The Bentleyville Public Library is a non-profit that serves the residents of Bentleyville, Cokeburg, Ellsworth Borough, North Bethlehem, and Somerset Township.
We are a member of the Washington County Library System offering a Waggins Card with access to public libraries collections in Washington, Fayette and Green Counties. We offer Storytimes, Recipe Club, Book Club, TOPS, Coffee & Crayons, Summer Reading, and Canvas & Coffee just to name a few. The mission of the library is to provide an environment, resources, and programs that inspire lifelong learning, advanced knowledge, promote the love of reading, and enhance the quality of life in our community.
Current Needs
The current need of the library is to enhance our programming through purchasing interactive supplies that our patrons can enjoy and use to learn new skills. By enhancing our programming, we will improve our ability to reach people in our community and increase our ability to provide programming for people of all ages and ability levels. In a small town like Bentleyville, the library is the only social hub available. So, any increase to our programming will have a noticeable and lasting effect on the community.
