Angels Journey Home Animal Rescue

Angels Journey Home Animal Rescue and our Angels for Everyday Heroes Program rescues dogs and trains them as service/therapy dogs for veterans. We also take pride in all the communities we serve with donations to children's programs, nursing homes, feed for pets, veterans, and the homeless. We transport veterans to appointments, grocery stores, and their pets to the vet, Boots on the ground is our motto, we don't put a band aid on the problem, we fix it. We are the voice for the animals we rescue and the veterans that reach out to us every day for help. One Dog. One Veteran. Saving Lives Together.

Our greatest need is a vehicle, our current vehicle is no longer running. The vehicle is the life- line of our organization. We use it to pick up donations, deliver donations, transport rescued animals, transport veterans, and help the homeless with life sustaining items to help get them to a shelter, along with resources. We also need emergency electric run to our kennels for lights and security to keep our animals safe. We are still rebuilding the rescue from the fire we suffered, and our cat sanctuary roof collapsed from a bad winter storm this past winter. We need materials to get the buildings repaired so we can continue saving animals and giving them the opportunity to have a loving home and for veterans to get a trained service/therapy dog.
